Hey all, I just got two new knife books which I think many of you might enjoy reading. The first is Bob Terzuola's book called the Tactical Folding Knife. It's a great book on how Bob makes his knives, and kind of a step by step guide to making folders, similar to David Boye's work on fixed blades. The other is called Edged Weapons of Hitler's Germany. If you're into WWII militaria this is a great book. It's by Robin Lumsden, and illustrates a bunch of rare models, as well as the usual SA, SS, Fireman's knife, and other more common models. It's put out by MBI. Very interesting reading. Gives historical details of the weapons/tools' evolution as well as technical info. The best news is they're cheap, I think I got both of them through Amazon for about $25 plus S+H.

I have read Terzuola's book. Yes, I think it is a very good read. As for the other one, I have not seen it.

Occasionally, there are some good titles that come suddenly into the market. I am still trying to read at least one book on Moran. I heard it is not only out of print, but also quite pricey.

Golok, try Barnes and Noble online. They have a great used and out of print section, better than Amazon's IMHO. I have had to pick up a bunch of books for my MA thesis this past semester dating to 1918 or earlier and have managed to get most of them that way for $50 or less. Worth a shot. Not sure if they offer overseas shipping but I think they probably do.
