Today I did a one man knife show at the store. We sent e-fliers to all the customers and some others. I took a good batch of fishing and kitchen knives, and some display items. I sold a few bucks less than $2000 in four hours. I sold four minis...which I really only brought for display.

I'll be engraving names on nine of those knives tomorrow, to personalize them.
That is a big sales point for my knives.

Here are a few shots of the display:

Very cool! It's the right time of year to do something like that. Reminds me of a little over a year ago when i went to a knife show, didn't have any knives with me, but had a binder full of pens that I had turned... i sold 300$ in pens at a knife show, without even intending to sell a one.

Just an update,
I have now sold all the fillet knives and oyster knives......and have orders for nine more oyster knives to be delivered in January.

If you have never thought about making oyster knives, I recommend it. The blade is about as simple as it gets..... 3" long blade, 2" tang, 1/2" wide, flat on the bottom and rounded (with no great detail to the grind) on the top. I put a slight down bend 3/4" from the rounded point. Handle is a 1X1.25X4-5" block of most any wood around. My burl seconds ( look good, but have a bark inclusion or something) get used on these. Sell for $30. I sold 3 dozen in ten days, plus the orders for more.

Nice Stacy!!!! That's a great idea, if you don't have store like you got (:)) I imagine you could work a deal with the local hunting/bait/ammo store.
