Hi all,

I want to get a good pair of shoes that I can slip on and off and wear WITHOUT SOCKS both around the house and outdoors (in the city). I was thinking about getting a pair of Sperry Authentic Originals BUT I currently have their MAKO model and have been hesistant to get another pair of Sperrys due to my experience with that model. The Makos were totally fine (great in fact) as long as I wore them with socks, but without socks they dyed my feet the color of the shoes, as well as blistering my feet to the point of bleeding in some spots. So my questions are, Do the Sperry Authentic Originals dye your feet or blister when worn sockless? Also is there any other good slip-on that can be worn sockless and is easy to step in and out of I should consider. I don't want to spend too much, say $100 dollar limit and and I prefer a leather shoe with a leather lining.

Thanks in advance for the input.

Sorry I meant to put this in gadgets and gear if one of the mods doesn't mind moving it.

Goofy as they look, those Crocs are mighty comfortable.

Of course, you're probably looking for something a tad more classy, I'd imagine.

I wore the Rockport boat shoes for years, most comfortable shoe I ever owned. They are fine w/o socks which is how I wore them 90% of the time.

Around the house I stick to my pink bunny slippers.
