Good small fixed blade knife for primarily stabbing...

What fixed blade knife would work well that is 4 in or under that has a good grip which allows you to be able to stab and penetrate things well, be it people (only if mandatory), animals, and wood/trees?

Nimravus (sp?) seems like a thin handle to me, any others?

For stabbing, definitely look for something with guards, to keep your hand from sliding forward onto the blade. For that reason, the Nimravus would not be a good choice. You might want to post this over in 'Practical Tactical,' where you will probably get more responses.

Hi Tuff,

Go take a look at the Katz Avenger I think it's called. It has a 4" dagger blade 1 side with serations the other side unserated and has a good solid handguard.
I can get you one for a decent price brand new in box with the divers sheath (some kind of ABSplastic quick release sheath with 2 fastening belts to strap it around your arm/legs).
The model number is Katz 10BTs-ABS
Discount knives has the knife for $ 102
my price is $75 NIB.

It is sharp and seems to be in use with some military commando group in Sweden or so.

Cheers,

Bagheera
