What are some of your favorite smaller fixed blades/neck knives? I typically carry a mora with me or my dirk pinkerton thumb drive. What would classify as a great and versatile small fixed blade?

For the money, the Marttiini Little Classic would be classified as a great and versatile small fixed blade. About 2oz with belt sheath. Comes sharper than a Mora and can be made even sharper with a few minutes on a steel. Retouches easily. Costs about $21 shipped. It will field dress and take the hide off a deer and remain shaving sharp. I tested it on one whitetail. The Cold Steel Urban Pal is a great neck knife for jogging or cycling but the sheath does not properly secure the knife if any kind of pressure is put on it such as carrying groceries or laundry. I lost my first one carrying out a load of laundry. Another good small necker is the Fallkniven WM1 but I don't like the current prices on them. When they were $50, they were great. Now, they're nearly double that.

I like the Izula with the addition of a clip, also my Swamp Rat Swamp Warden took one of the most aggressive edges I've felt, and is a practical size, and certainly a satisfying knife. I'm eager to try the Becker BK24, it's a proven blade profile, with a venerable steel (D2). I've come to the conclusion, that most of your supposed "neck knives" make even better belt knives AFAIC anyhow.

I love my small Bark Rivers, the little creek, colonial patch, psk and pro scalpel.
My izula and bk 11 also get lots of use.
Finally, my A.G. Russell woodswalker and bird and trout(d2) showed up a few weeks ago and have put in some good work as well.

Dozier K1 or Marble's Fieldcraft in 52100 from Mike Stewart's era there are my preferred small(er) FBs.
