good source for combined edge blades?

looking around, most knife manufacturers seem to favor straight-bladed knives, either single- or dual- edged. Cold steel has some knives with mixtures of serrated, straight, and chopping edges on the same knife, but they don't have quite the blade I'm looking for.

What sources are out there for combination blades? the perfect blade I have in mind is a blade with straight sharpened edges on the front and back tips, serrated on one side just forward of the hilt, chopping edge on the other side, with a hilt cross guard... but that's just a pipe dream that I'll have to have custom made... I'll settle for any good combo blades.

SOG makes a number of knives with combo edges, folder and fixed. They also make one called the Pentagon, a double edged fixed blade with one plain edge, other serrated. It is a dagger style blade, so the point is probably to thin for utility type work.

Buck and Spyderco I think offer combo edges, the Spyderco Endura and Delica would both be good choiced if they still make them in 50/50.

Victorinox makes the One-Hand-Trekker model which is an excellent combo blade...serrations are in the front.

Check out one of the better sites like www.knifecenter.com and you should find about anything you could want.

A SOG Daggert might do it... is a possible to correct the sharpening on a blade in a short portion to make it into a wider angle usefull for chopping, as opposed to a narrower angle useful for cutting

Most people say Spyderco makes the best serrations in the world, I'd go with Spyderco's comboedge.

I have a new Spyderco Delica CE available let me know if you're interested.

For CE blades, I prefer serrations that aren't as aggressive as the Spyderco ones, although I do like they spydie's for SE.

I recently aquired a Benchmade 503CE, that has the "two-step" style that Spyderco uses, but the points are a little shorter and less aggressive.

The serrations on the Kershaw Scallion are pretty good too. It's convexed (scalloped) unlike Spyderco's.
