Well, after my first successful Paracord wrap of my IZULA, I'm hooked. I'm watching Youtube videos, but, alas, I have no Paracord. I see load on that huge auction site, but, is there a dealer who has a nice selection that any of you fellow pack members use? If so, I'd appreciate being pointed in the right direction. Thanks.

There's a dealer on ebay that I used to buy all my para cord from, can't remember they're name now though, they'd sell it for pretty cheap. Last night I made me a nice key chain with OD para cord with glow in the dark specking, it has a monkey's fist with a 1 inch ball bearing in and I did a cobra stitch for 2-3 inches, look's innocent but can do some damage when swung.

ETA: Wilson Combat Tactical (or something close to that) who has a sub forum on here also hosts paracord.com and carries a wide range of paracord.

One of my favorite things to make is survival bracelets out of the stuff, a very fun way to spend some time.

I've gotten mine from www.goinggear.com. He carries 8 strand 650, all other is 7 strand 550, it's got 1 more internal strand and had about 100lbs. more of breaking strength. You can get 100ft sections or 500ft sections. He's also a member of the WS&S forum on here.

Has anybody tried the para at cheaperthandirt? Just curious as it's $12 for 300ft...

Wow. Lots of great sources. I just ordered with SupplyCaptain. Got 100ft for 7.00. Other sites wanted 5.95 for 50ft. Also, bought 4 bundles of 100ft and shipping was only 6.00. Thanks everyone!!

Why don't you want to go through the bay? I paid $7.50 shipped for 2 different colored 50' hunks and could pick from like 20-30 colors (and it is real 7-strand 550 cord).

Also check out any local camping/army surplus stores in your area. Whenever I visit family up in wisconsin I always hit up a store I always went to growing up and the great thing is no waiting for shipping :D
