Recommendation? Good Sources for Metric Knife Screws?

I have a knife and a multitool of an unknown Chinese brand that need replacement screws (originals lost/stripped). I have metric calipers and know that I'm looking for M3.5-0.6mm and M3-0.5mm screws. If need be, I know I can get screws with compatible threads from McMaster, but are there any other convenient sources that I may have missed?

The reason I'm asking is that the head sizes and shapes provided by McMaster are either far too big or far too small.

Edit: Alternatively, what's your experience with swapping M3.5-0.6mm for #6-40 and M3-0.5mm for #4-48, respectively?

I had this problem with a European fiction folder that I took apart, dropped the screw and I couldn’t find it

Aarons Torx screws in Los Angeles saved me

The #6 screw and 3.5mm screw are both .138” in diameter. The former is 40TPI, the latter is 42.3TPI.
The #4 screw is .112” in diameter. The 3mm screw is .118” in diameter. The former is 48TPI, the latter is 50.8TPI.
The longer the female thread, the worse the fit is going to be.

Check Tacoma screw. these guys are pretty much the one stop shop for em. going into their stores is nuts, literally :)

Knifekits.com has pretty much all the screws you will want … SAE and Metric.
