I want to try out a wharncliffe blade. So i was wondering if anyone could tell me a good one to try out that's not real expensive. I'm looking to spend 100$. Don't want to spend more in case I don't like it. Looking for a folder not fixed. Suggestions?

Keshaw centafante it's small but I hear its a good knife or a spyderco centafante 4.

The Kershaw Needs Work is quite nice (assisted opener with wharncliff blade). I bought it a Walmart for $40. The Spyderco Kiwi3 is another option, 2" blade for about $19.95 - $29.95 (depending on handle material).

Needs Work is a Great one.... I love mine!

The needs work would be a good option, just keep in mind the the handle is on the bulky side when clipped in your pocket.

Chester I love those Snap-On scales!!

Needs Work is a great choice especially for the low price.

It's one of the many in my rotation and highly recommended.

I love wharncliffe blades.. I've enjoyed Spyderco Yojimbo 2, Kershaw Needs Work, Kershaw Leek (modified wharncliffe), Boker Wharcom, And, for Traditional pocket knives: Blade Forums 2012 knife, SAK Electrician. Case Peanut with little wharn blade.

All within your price range.

i ended up getting a spyderco perrin ppt spent a little more money but wth i can always trade it if i dont like it

If you can find one on eBay, I'd pick up a Spyderco Centofante 4. An absolutely great knife, and the 4 has a wharnie blade. For the price, it can't be beat.

PPT is a nice, solid knife. Love the blade, handle, the whole package. In retrospect, surprised no one mentioned it. I didn't think of it either until you posted that you bought one. :D
