Good Tactical(ish) fixed blade?

I've been searching for a decent fixed blade for a while, The work it will be doing will be cutting rope (1"), Hacking smaller (4"-) branches, stuff of that sort. I've been looking for something with a blade of 5-7.5 inches and about 1/4" thickness, made in the U.S.A. and preferably a MOLLE / ALICE compatible sheath, kydex / cordura / canvas. Anyone know of anything decent in the $60-$125 range?

I think you just described the Ontario Ranger RD series. An RD-6 or RD-7 would probably fill your requests. Check them out on the Ontario website, and/or at www.chestnutridgeknifeshop.com.
