I am a member on many of the different Facebook groups out there, and I have a couple groups I started devoted to traditional knives. It is good to see the shift back to traditional knives. I have seen many members on other forums that once carried framelocks and flippers, go back to the old knives. Sure, they carry a modern and a traditional at the same time, but more and more are getting back to the traditionals. Many are going to GEC, some Queen, but more and more are picking up old Case knives, and some set aside knives for their kids.

Good to know, as Bear Claw from Jeremiah Johnson would say.

I agree - this one and others will go to my son:

He is beginning to show an interest. ;):)

I've made the shift back. I also have set aside a few traditional for my boys. I have also given knives to both grandfathers to carry and use, and pass on to my boys.

I also am a recent convert to traditional knives. I just can't get enough of them! Fun and easy to carry. I usually carry at least 2 or 3 traditional knives. I also am going ultra old school and carrying a fixed blade every day!

Bring them here Dan!
Tell them we have candies! If they're interested in candies with some patina...

I have switched. Only carrying traditionals now. And looking for two for my boys that I can carry until they are old enough. I need to find a red 33 conductor for my 4 year old who loves all things trains. And letting my 5 month old grow a little more to discover more of his personality. May be something bigger. He is a giant. 20lbs and 27 inches long. Big boy. It is really nice to see a switch in what people are carrying.
