Edit: Ended up getting a Kershaw Ram - thank you for all of your suggestions!

I've been playing with my ZT 0561 all day, and I'm hooked. Now I just need something for my left pocket! I looked at a couple, but I can't seem to find many that are left-hand friendly and aren't almost the exact same price as my 0561 (looking for something under $100). SanRenMu and Enlan have all right-handers for their flippers, which is kind of an oversight. Oh, how I wish my EL-01 had a moveable clip :/

My search so far has turned up nothing - I'm looking for left-hand (tip up or down doesn't matter) friendly unassisted flippers for less than $100. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated :)

I've heard the ZT0350 makes a great manual flipper if you remove the torsion bar.

You really can't do much butter than the RAM for what your looking for. I would put it on par with my Spyderco PM2 as far as smoothness in open/closing goes. It really is a great little knife! They are discontinued now but you can still find them for around $50 nib on the big auction site or a blem from Kershaw guy for a little less.

The RAM is probably the coolest unassisted Kershaw ever. I love the Skyline too. It is very plain Jane, but is beautiful in its simplicity.

The ZT 0350 does make an awesome manual flipper for sure.
And the $85 for a blem is just awesome.
For the blem it's still under $100, would make an awesome user, s30v steel, beefy but good all around cutter.

You aren't really missing out on anything if you did decide to take the ZT 0350 over the Ram I guess. Though the lock on the Ram is nice.
I just like the overall design of the Ram.

The ZT 0200 is nice and beefy and completely overbuilt.
I however, didn't prefer it for pocket carry.

Your ZT 0560 is a completely over built beefy knife so maybe go for something a little different?

There are some great options though.

i'll second that, the g&g hawk lock (dont remember how they call it) is awesome, great detent, smooth and solid. the knife itself is very well made, great ergos and very small k ife for the blade too.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the Kershaw Junkyard Dog Or Skyline, both awesome sweet manual flippers, and the JYD is sooo smooth, can be had for about $65

Slight necro here, but I just wanted to state for the record that the Kershaw Ram was a perfect recommendation. After sanding down the slightly over-aggressive g10, it's the best left-hand carry knife I've owned. The lock is actually easier to operate with the left hand than with the right, I have no concerns about it opening in the pocket as the detent is very strong, and, paradoxically, the flipper action is effortless and lightning fast.

So, Thank you BladeChick777! Fantastic suggestion!

If you can get your hands on a RAM I'd jump on it as I suspect they will be getting harder to find as those of us who have them get extras because they were discontinued. The Skyline is also very good and easy to find but there is just something about the way the RAM opens and the cool sound it makes when you flip it...

oops. I see you already got one. Enjoy!
