whenever you take it out of the pocket, it's already in reverse grip. i can't think of a good way to 1-hand open it.

Ya, if not that then the only other way may be to do the ziptie "wave" thing and when your draw it, push it slightly forward and try to get the ziptie to catch on your pocket.

elaborate?

There's another way. Holding it in reverse grip, flip it forward. When it hits the outside of your hand it will pop open. Then just flick it back into your hand. Later you can try spinning it back towards yourself. That will also make it pop open (be careful though).

The zip tie trick is as follows: put a ziptie through the spydie hole and pull it tite being carefull to make the little square part of the ziptie sit on the spine of the blade and then trim the excess. You should end up with a small square of plastic on the blade spine on top of the spydie hole. When the knife is in your pocket just run the spine of the blade along the edge of the pocket as you draw and the little plastic square will catch on the corner and the knife will be drawn open. It copies the emerson wave. take a look at an emerson comander. You will see a little hook on the blade spine, you are trying to mimic this with the zip tie. I have done this to a few of my spydies with great results.
