Well it was raining Sunday morning so i could not go to the flea market to chase down old slipjoints like i do every Sunday during the summer. Instead I went shopping with my girlfriend, we went to a wallmart we normally don't go to. I decided to check out the knife counter. Much to my surprise in with the closeout items there were still some American made Uncle henry knives. A few were large lock back hunters, but there was also a small stockman, the 807. I purchased that along with a buck 309. I was surprised to find them because they dried up a long time ago most places near me. So guys keep your eyes open because i guess you just never know what you will find. Joe

Well a good score for, Joe! Sometimes those plans gone awry can be blessings in disguise. Naturally, we'll wanna see pics if you can. ;)

I also believed that all the bucks next to the 119 and 110's sold at walmart were made in china, and these days i think the slipjoint bucks sold at walmart are. The 309 was with the Uncle henry in the closeouts, and the paper inside the box had Al Buck on it, so i am guessing it was older stock also. As to pictures, that is something i will need to work on. Nice finds, Joe. Good weekend indeed.
