Since much is said about wives and knives, I just have to say thanks to mine. Not only does she support me in my hobby, but during the last two days when I was out of town and in contact only by phone, she handled all of the E-mails to purchase Eric's ZT SH.

I have officially extended her probationary period ten more years.

By the way, at Blade I kept going back and admiring the Brend #5 boot knife, and she kept saying, "Buy it. If you don't you'll be sorry later." She was right. It is later and I am sorry that I didn't. Just goes to show that I need to start doing what she tells me to do.
 
I know what you mean, Mike. My fiance' has absolutely no interest in knives (although, she's learning...I asked her what she wanted for her birthday and she said "One of those rainbow colored knives (a Chive) for my keychain." That was cool, and she really loved it!). The thing is, even though she doesn't totally understand my interest (like why I would pay 400 bucks for a knife), she supports my love of knives and shows some interest herself. She's a great woman, I love her, and I'm not too macho to admit it! :D
 
Hey, I've got one of those. I too had a couple "Well why didin't you just BUY it when you were there? You said you wanted it." sessions after Atlanta.

My baby actually questions WHY I trade some away. She wants me to keep ALL my acquisitions. She has also laid claim to several right out of the box.

Ah, the best of all worlds.

you guys sound really lucky... maybe one day i will finally find a woman as good as them. so far i haven't found a girl that loves knives as much as me. YOU GUYS ARE LUCKY!!!! Congrats
 
AK: The thing is, she doesn't give a rip about knives. She just loves me, for some unfathomable reason. :D
 
i've met some ladies where love was involved..... they'd love to run away A.S.A.P.
must of been my jokes :p :D
but i am keeping my eyes out for a woman that has no wedding ring on her finger and a busse on the hip :cool::D
 
All I can say as a 42 year old bachalor??...is you guys with loving and understanding wives are some lucky SOBs!!! ;)
