Okay guys,
I know that one of my resolutions this year is to buy less gear, but I ended up having a pretty fruitful "survival" day at the gun show in Puyallup.
First, before I even left for the show, the mailman had this for me, which I scored in a trade from 230grains. Iis a Busse FFBM. For the record, this was a trade,so no money changed hands, and it was initiated before the end of 2009. (Whew!) A great day and I haven't even left the house yet!
Once I got to the show, I found a nice zipper case for the FFBM for all of $6.00!
Next, I found a guy selling smoke signals and such. I picked up this nifty pull-ring model and some cannon fuse for some projects I have going.
Next, I found a seller with pieces of flint, charcloth, and some neat little ferro rod/striker combos. I've always wanted to try natural flint but haven't found any just lying around.
A few minutes later I found a striker for the flint at another table. Nice, since the other guy didn't have any.

I also ran into the guys from Bladetech and scored a drop-leg platform for the holster they made for me a while back. I really like to carry my 629 where it is accessable but don't like it on my pack's hipbelt.
Finally,
I ran into Scott from SKT Industries, who makes tactical nylon items. He is local, so I will be getting together with him for some customization of my SaberCat and for a couple of specialty pouches.
I hardly ever go to gun shows anymore. I'm sure glad I did today! Not a bad haul for about $70!
