Kendo has been banned.....again.

All of us make mistakes and say things we probably shouldn't have. Those that apologize are given a second chance. Those that don't, are banned.

And those who have offended, apologized, offended again, been banned, allowed back, and offended yet again.....need to move on.

Your history in this forum is clear. The good you provide does not outweigh the problems caused.

I was not prepared to do this until your comment over the weekend.

Please take some time away and do not re-register.

Dan

Dang...makes me wish I had responded to that thread so I could be one of "the regular knowitalls" too... :D

I missed it too. All I saw was "This message is hidden because Kendo is on your ignore list. "

Dan.....how could you do this to someone who has so obviously misplaced his medication......again? Kendo could have maybe taught us something about....um....ahhh....oh wait.....bamboo swords. Yeah....that's it.....bamboo swords. His name is Kendo, right? So he must know something about those sword thingies and maybe even how to shout loud and stuff. And don't most people need help assembling and tying on all that stuff that you have to wear when Kendo-ing. Maybe he knows how to do that? it's a pretty esoteric skill. :D :p

(please, Kendo aficionadoes, do not attack.....I'm kidding....ok? And, based on a little experience, those bamboo thingies, in the hands of a master, when you've misbehaved.....hurt!

I was one of the lucky 'know it all's" ...but really couldn't add to Semper's brilliant post advising the absent one to please take his happy pills. It was so light, so perfect, not really even mean; no one posted after that- Semper said it all.

I actually thought that finished it for the time being.

You do realize posting a thread like this is cruel and inhumane. I mean after all I am a woman and women need to know all the local gossip and....well you know   :p :footinmou :D

LOL
Darn! All I saw was the head in the basket after the guillotine fell. I missed the whole lead up to the public execution :p .

...there wasn't enough room under the HI forum bridge for two of us anyway :D

that just posting the ban, then locking the thread would have been the thing to do.

The subsequent posts seem a lot like a lynching party.

That's the way it seems to me.

Doesn't seem that way to me. The troll has been on and off this forum for a long time. The Mod's have shown far more patience that I ever could. (Which is why I am not a good candidate for Mod :p )

The right thing was done.

So...putting the boot to the guy after he's been banned is....what? appropriate behavior...from the forumites, not the Mod.

Analogous behavior from contemporary conflicts was much condemned by folks here. It was on a much more heinous level, but it WAS analogous.

Kis

Kis, you always bring welcome wisdom to the table. I'm glad he's gone, but i see your point. Perhaps we have been a little overzealous. Thanks.

I simply suggest you let the Moderators do their job. It is not your place to decide what is acceptable behavior on the part of ANY forumite. You stated your opinion. Fine. I stated mine. Now why don't we just let it go.
