Look, I am new at this site and this is a custom knife forum... I am a custom knife maker. All parts of my knifes are hand made and I thought it makes them custum knifes. I thought that this would be a forum to make my new and passionate hobby known. However if I offended the moderator and all of you other guys on line... that was not my intention. I just wanted to prowoke some interesting discussions regarding the issue of folders versus fixed blades. I'll keep out of this specific forum and stay where my presence is more appreciated.

Best regards,

Hejdå (Swedish for goodbye)
P

P,

I thought I had welcomed you to the forum. (Certainly I wasn't offended in any way.) Our only rule is no commercial content or sales in the discussions. Other than that it is pretty much open.

I hope you didn't misunderstand my intention which was to keep your thread open for anyone who wished to make comments on your knives.

Dexter only moved it to the custom forum because he felt it fit better here than in the "what's new" section.

Perhaps you might want to rethink your leaving. Good luck either way.

Thanks!
I appreciate you comment. I have no commercial ambition. I am just proud of my own work. I have no web page and no sales ambitions. Just new Ideas of how the knife might look. And that is new! (Thats why I chose the"Whats new" Forum) Anyhow I am not able to post the pics of my knives myself but I had to rely opon good fellow members.
Regards,

P

Per - welcome to the forums, and glad you are sticking around. If you would like to get pics of your knives up, please feel free to email them to me along with the specs. I will then upload them to What's New. As a custom maker, please feel free to make use of What's New to post your new creations. The reason why I moved your post out of that particular forum is because you did not post any pics or specs of any knives. I hope you will consider taking me up on my offer. You can reach me anytime at knifenut@triad.rr.com

Thanks, Dex.

I've been emailing back and forth with Per and I think I was able to resolve the misunderstanding that occurred.

In any case, Per's been nothing short of a gentleman and I too hope he'll stick around and contribute to the forum.

A bit of background information such as size and materials used would be greatly appreciated. The knives are quite nice but as a knife maker myself I am always asking what material is that and why did he use it.

I would also like to know more about what materials were used and some general specs such as blade length and thickness would be nice as well.

Thanks for your kind words!

Lets leave this thread since it has a negative beginning. I wrote it when I was somewhat upset. I am now good fried with the modeators and they have given me some guideanceee and alot of help on where to put my stuff. Please Mr. Modeator close this thread and/or refer to the more lively and positive ones.

P:)
