Goodyear Axes?

There was only one reference to a Goodyear axe on Google and nothing in the forums, so I was wondering, who made axe heads for Goodyear Tire way back in the day? I found a rusted, no name axe head at an antique shop and cleaned it with Evapo-Rust. Once the rust was off, I could see a classic "Good (logo) Year" stamped into the head. It's an earlier 20th Century Michigan-style 3 pound head, and I'm guessing it's between 70 to 100 years old. Thanks

At one time, Goodyear sold appliances & tools of all sorts as well as tires & auto services. I bet they put it up for bids every few years for best price. May have been made by several different manufacturers.

Here's a Goodyear hatchet that sold a couple weeks ago for $89
