While my blades are tempering, I thought I would make something fun. It still needs to be heat treated, and the scales, which are torched oak, are just pinned on fo the picture. It`s about 8 1/4" overall, 3 1/2" cutting edge, and 1/4" thick.

John buddy please stop with this stuff eh, just when I breath a sigh of relief and think I don't have to start saving for any more knives you set me off wanting a hatchet !!!!!

That's a real beauty !!!!

Now that is cool, I kinda like the short handle. Would work well for kitchen chores.

That's cool, when ya making more and how much?

This one will be for sale in about a week. If there is interest, I will make more. Price will be $135 with a "from the forge" finish, or $145 with my normal finish. Any of my handle materials will be available.

John that looks great. That would be perfect in a pack, for hiking canoeing etc.
