Goofing Off Today!

In case you are wondering why I`m posting so much today, it`s because I`m goofing off, and not working. I finished the last November order, and the first two orders for December this morning. My wife is gone, so I`m home alone. I cleaned the shop this morning, now I`m kicking back and relaxing. I`ll get back to working on December orders on Monday.
 
My fault. I need to order one of those "Bad Economy" knives and get you back to work! :D

Sometimes a day off gives you a chance to cool off and think about what you need next, not just the brute force approach. Creativity, customer service ( time online is customer service too ) and just not burning out.

We see a lot of guys with "successful" knifemaking businesses who overbook, fall behind, spend advance payments. Really successful business means you know how to do the job, now you learn how to manage the business. In the shop is important, but at the desk is the finishing touch.

OK? Now you have an excuse for goofing off! :D
 
More then deserved I'd say, nice to see so many posts today as well, I'm off of thanksgiving to, finished uploading the last of the grading now hanging out with the kids and checking in here every now an again. playing with the idea of a bad economy knife in January while i do.
 
Good to hear about a needed day of goofing off. I went from Columbus to Carrollton KY and back to Columbus and now I'm waiting for a trailer that I'll be taking to Connecticut for friday morning.

phew, sounds like a long day.
 
Yeah it was. I just shut down for the evening. My trailer showed up just after that last post. I drove roughly forty miles since then. Traffic is horrible.
