I had a REALLY random thought. I saw on a FB group where some guy had forged a longspring foot hold trap. I also have a buddy who forged a wrought iron clothespin, just because.

What strange things have you seen made out of Damascus, just because?

I saw a rose that was waterjet cut out of damascus about 15 years ago.

Some good answers out of the Tx Knifemakers Guild FB group...
fishing reel handle, belt buckle, screwdriver (Alec Steele made one), toothpick, pizza cutter, pendants, earrings, golf divot tools, chopsticks, tattoo gun, pipe collar, "herbal smoking device", toilet flush handle and seat hinges, Todd Begg mentioned a forged Damascus kitchen sink with matching faucet, hinges, and door pulls; forks, guitar tuner pegs, bottle openers, bolt action rifle knobs, hoof picks, fly tying vise, Wiccan ceremonial dagger (maker declined to make it), chisel, miniature knife shaped nipple rings, shark teeth, railroad spike.

Larry Fuegen makes bits and spurs out of dammy.

Todd Begg clarified, he did not make the Damascus sink etc, just saw it. The cabinet faces were carbon fiber.

Something really interesting things ive seen as a supplier, are that Damascus steel and ultra high end wood have been seeping out into other luxury markets.

It used to be a pretty simple Hierarchy of materials for luxury items, that went roughly Stainless steel -> Sterling silver -> gold, with possible accents of MOP or precious metals. Now all sorts of luxury goods are incorperating Fordite, carbon fiber, burl woods, damasteel, timascus and other materials from the knife world.

My woods have ended up in some weird products, phone cases, vape mods, sports cars, rings, clipboards, weed pipes, artists brushes

Saw a guy on YouTube make a Jew's/Jaw Harp out of damascus... Pretty cool!

This weird little blade is something I would have never made, but for the fact that this "scrap" cut of Damacore was so expensive I just couldn't bare the idea of doing nothing with it. Now it rides in/on my wallet every day.

That is awesome!! I’ve always thought about a slip sheath on my wallet. Excellent job and fantastic use of the “extra.” :D
