I have always loved Firefox, but just downloaded Google Chrome (beta).

There are somethings that I love about this browser, and others that need improvement.

Interface:
First off, there is no universal scrolling, or at least that is what I call it when you scroll fast by pressing the wheel. It is quite similar to firefox in that it is based off of tabs with an address bar. The tabs are at the top which may take some time to get used to, but does make more sense. I sometimes use many different tabs, so it is a pain to click on a link with a tab on the left and have to scroll over to the right, in Chrome the tabs open beside the original. The appearance is a light blue, it goes well with my computer, but I miss the add ons and customization options on firefox. Maybe they will come later as this is a new program. One of my favourite buttons, the Ctrl-F search tool, is extra handy, as is the download bar at the bottom.

Performance:
Google tried to make this super smooth and worked on getting javascript to run fast. I don't need to reinstall flash and all of my bookmarks are imported from firefox. The speed is great and there is a task manager to see how different tabs are running. Google claims that if one tab crashes, the entire browser won't. It hasn't done that yet, but firefox had a handy restore session function that made this not a problem.

With Bladeforums!

I added a bladeforums google search bar, by right clicking on the address bar, clicking edit search engines then add, the placing http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&rlz=1C1CHMG_enCA291&q=%+site:www.bladeforums.com&btnG=Search&meta= in the url space
and bladeforums.com in the keyword space.

The quick links section of firefox was a bit of an after thought in my opinion, but I used it a lot with my links being: BladeForums.com, Shoptalk, New Posts, find all posts by Keith_H and Gmail. I was happy that this was the bookmark bar, with the rest on the right.

All in all, I recommend this download. It won't be replacing firefox as my main browser now, but I know that google with come through with this being a one of the best web browsers.

Who else here has this?

How does it handle cookies and other security and privacy concerns? That's more important to me than what color it is. And, in this area, I don't trust google.

The tabbed "sandbox" approach is encouraging but has already shown vulnerabilities. I like that the applications run in their own memory space instead of everything being jammed into the same space occupied by the browser. I think once they shake out all the new release bugs it will be a solid browser.
