Anyone heard anything? I'm late to the party as I love the SpyderHawk and to a lesser degree the SuperHawk. The Harpy is just too small for me. I got a Byrd Crossbill to see how I'd like the Hawkbill and after a day I'm convinced I need one. I guess worst case I'll get a Matriarch 2 and be careful with the tip, but man would I love to see another SpyderHawk. Anybody heard anything?

You know the Tasman has the same cutting edge as the Byrd just without the choil and with the huge advantage of being H1.

I really need something that's at least 3.5". The Tasman isn't much larger than the Harpy. Basically I want a SpyderHawk or something like that. Possibility of a sprint run?

I have been eyeing the matriarch also. It looks to me like the lil matriarch has a little less down sweep on the tip and would probably hold up better to general use, but it might not meet your size requirements either.

Yeah its a little small. I just ordered a Matriarch 2 with Emerson feature. I guess I'll keep my eyes open in the FS section

I purchased a SuperHawk and it should be here Thurs. I'm pretty excited, but I'm also hoping to stumble onto a SpyderHawk in the near future. It seems everyone has gone away from these for Karambits?

Since both the SpyderHawk and Super Hawk are discontinued models, not long ago either; it doesn't leave much choice. Although the former is still available, it takes some searching.

Spyderhawks are still available? It seems they are more rare than the Superhawk. I'd love to find a SpyderHawk and put a set of custom scales on it

They are harder to find than monkeys riding unicorns, but they do pop up once in a while. :) custom scales would look nice on a fully serrated one.
