Just a little eye candy of some CPM3V blades. The bowie is a CPM3V blank from Matt Roberts over at DevilFish knives, mic's at .270:eek:, full flat sweetness with some Gossman treatment. I hand rubbed the blade, not perfect but it works. Scott put on those sweet desert ironwood scales and put an edge on it that kills. The leather isn't half bad either:rolleyes: wonder who made that??;) The First Strike is in the pic for reference, shows you how beasty that bowie is....

That bowie turned out great. Is it real heavy or about the same as the Fehrman.

That bowie is something else. Talk about a beast. :D

The bowie is as Scott says, a beast!! It is heavy, but very balanced thanks to Scott and the handle work. Definitely a hardcore overall knife, and with a lanyard you could hold the butt swell for serious chopping. In a regular grip it still chops well though. In comparison to the Fehrman it's apples and oranges. The Fehrman is thinner all around, including handles, which makes it lighter but not a faster knife as it is more tip heavy.
