I've been lusting after a Gossman Tusker for a while, but when I saw this Golok I decided to pull the trigger (I'm a golok fanatic). The blade is a little shy 9", its 3/16" A2 (a steel I like!). The handle fits my hand perfectly, I wear a M/L glve, if you have huge mitts, you'd want to ask Scott to make it a little bigger. Fit and finish is great, nice sheath too.. This knife screams "Camp knife" to me, small enough to wear, and big enough to chop... I'm impressed.

Scott has a talent for working steel. The golok looks like a great knife. I would love to see it used side by side to the Tusker.

That's awesome looking. How many big choppers do you have these days? Favorite?

Rocky - I have too many big choppers! Favorites are:

Koyote Bush beater:

The bearded cleaver (I use this a lot, but don't wear it - Too Heavy!):

That's a great looking knife, I'm not normally a fan of recurves but I could easily make an exception for that one !

very nice design. looks very well executed also. 2 more inches it would be ideal for me :) (thats what she said blah blah blah )

If you live close to his shop, you have to drop by. The man is a crack dealer when it comes to knives! Nice knife!
