I wasn't sure if you all heard of this yet. I had a great time last year, this year is shaping up to be even better. Scott ussually does a little grinding and teaches a sharpening class. Kevin Estela will be giving a few lessons in some outdoor survival skills as well. The usuall suspects that come out are funny and friendly as hell, and bring a ton of steel and gear to check out. Their are some nice trails in the area that offer stunning views as well.

It is a great place to share and learn. We leave our egos at home and have a genuine great time! So if you're in the Maryland/ PA area or don't mind traveling further as I don't, I suggest you come on out next weekend.

Here are more details.

Hey Tony, thanks for posting. We will be having an awesome round table discussion with some extremely knowledgable individuals. Knife writing legend Dan Shecthman will be attending on Sat. along with so many other talented folks. Looking forward to seeing old friends as well as meeting new ones.
Come out if you can make it. Everyone is welcome.
Scott

Looking forward to seeing everyone. Thanks in advance for hosting this Scott. I plan on focusing on a few of the applications of fire and the different stages of it. If anyone wants me to cover another topic, let me know and I'll make sure to pack the right demo gear/materials.

See you guys in a week.

I absolutely want to make it up there sometime in the future for Scott's get together. I think it would be a good learning experience and I'd meet some good friends.
You guys have fun, I plan on crashing the party some day.:D

I'd like to learn more about wild edibles, if that's a doable topic.

That is possible. Fall isn't the best time to find a lot but you should know them in all seasons. We'll find them so bring a pad and pen along with a camera.
