Yes even us makers like to buy customs :) Recently got in a Tusker from Scott. Nice green canvas micarta scales and 1/4in A2 steel. The leather sheath is built heavy duty like a nice holster. I finally got out into the woods this weekend and snapped one crappy pic but I was smiling when I did :) This small tree top presented no real challenge ans the steel held up great. No change whatsoever in edge condition from start to finish. I easily cut enough wood to equal a shelter build and some spare firewood. I really like Scott's design. Just a simple usable tool for the camp and trail :D

I think it's really cool for a maker to buy another makers work! Very cool.

Great words of praise coming from someone who makes some awesome chopping blades himself !;)

Thanks for compliments Bill. It was certainly an honor to make that for you. I've always admired your work.

That was the first knife I fell in lust with when I started hanging out here. It is still my "Grail Knife".
I'm glad to see I'm in good company.

pittsteele, nice collection you've got there. Which sheath is that on the far left? And what goodies do you have in the front pockets of that one and the Spec Ops sheath?
