Here is a link to a photo show I put together from teaching at the Wilderness Learning Center the past couple weeks. Gossman knives were well represented by me and are not so visible in a few pictures. See if you can pick out which ones are shown. I'll give you a hint, there is a big one and a small one at least.
On a side note...
I put one special Gossman knife through the ringer recently and all I can say is wow! To simulate a desperate need signaling situation, I even cut through reinforced sidewalls of a tire to make rubber strips that could be burned for black smoke. This Gossman was made in April and since then, I deliberately have not cleaned it, polished it or sharpened it. While not hair popping sharp anymore, it has a great working edge I can make wood shavings with and accomplish most tasks.
