I got $65 i want to get a new knife with. right now im looking at the crkt heiho/hissastu 2. anyone else have any suggestions?

Plenty of choices at $65. If that CRKT is your style then some choices may not appeal to you. I wouldn't be the first to recommend a couple of highly regarded knives such as the Spyderco Delica and Benchmade Mini or full size Griptilian. Both the Spyderco & BM are going to have better steel and re-sale value. There are also a ton of Kershaws in that price range like Leeks, Skylines, etc..

I know there are hundreds if not thousands of knives the fall into a $65 price range. Where have you seen a grip for 65? i havent been able to find a full sized under 80 but i havent done much looking considering i hear the omega springs in the grips like to break

Sums up most of the knives I'd recommend, but you could buy a keshaw junkyard dog 2 blem from kershawguy, it's D2, liner lock flipper..and just a nice knife.

Benchmade 530

Kershaw Blur

Kershaw Skyline

add $10 and get the Kershaw Speedform II

Kershaw Zing

Id go either endura or griptilian myself. Save up $15 and you can get a zt 0350 blem... If you want a full size plain edge orange griptilian used once for a steal email me. Good luck with your decision

Buck Vantage. Pro's are around $50, Selects around $20, and the force lines are around $60. The Hissatsu's are not bad, but I did find them to be less than practical for everyday use. Don't get me wrong, it will still cut just fine, but seems to lack something in the utilitarian market.

If I were to spend ~$65 on a knife right now it would be either a BM Mini-Grip or Kershaw Knockout.

I think we can all agree that a knife like that isnt meant for cutting up boxes. :P For what my day to day use for my knives are Ive found anything with a sharp edges works its mainly just for the fact that i think its a cool knife.

The omega springs on the grip can break, but it is actually fairly uncommon. If they do break a trip to Benchmade should correct that issue. Or you can buy a cheap axis folder and gut it for springs (unsure if they would fit though). The SRM 763 is about the same size as a grip so it should work for parts.

Get ypurself a Kershaw Blur Blem in CPM154. Excellent knife and a terrific blade steel usually reserved for high end midtechs and customs.
