Hi Guys, gettiing away from Daltons for awhile and have started grabbing up spyderos and kershaws. Had a rainbow leek and combo edge scallion and the scallion has endured years of abuse and is still a nice little knife. Just got a ZT 301 and a mini cyclone Ti zdp189. The zt is a beast and the mini C has a scary blade and once I get the lock figured out it will see some EDC time.

I also have a blur sg2 coming and 2 JYDIIs, one Ti sg2, and one G10 D2 13C27 composite, plain edge
Tell me what you think of my purchases thus far and perhaps offer some suggestions for future purchases. The guys on this sub-forum seem nice and very knowledgeable.. think I will be hanging out more often!
Thanks, Russ:D

Hey Russ,
Welcome to the forum:thumbup: Your purchases so far are excellent, especially the TiZDP mini Cyclone and the SG2 models since those are all limited runs.;) I would definitely recommend picking up an all black ENER-G II with the G-10 handle. It's an amazing slicer and gets tons of pocket time with lots of us regulars. The R.A.M. is another one to look into. One of the quickest, smoothest, non-assisted flippers you will find with a strong and interesting lock.

Have fun!
Jon

Spec Bump! You've got to try out the stud lock.

May I also suggest a ZT 0400, if you like the nightmare grind.

Welcome to the forum(s), Russ! It looks like you are off to a great start on your Kershaw collection. I EDC an SG2 JYD and it has quickly become one of my favorite Kershaw knives.

One direction you may wish to look into, is a collection of Leeks. At first they appear small, but I assure you they have a big bite, as well as an enormous variety to choose from. Enjoy your collecting.

Howdy Russ! Welcome to our round little corner of the padded room!

Great start...TIZDP Cyclone, both SG2 models, a CB JYD, and a ZT. VERY nice start! You'll love the CB Shallot! Of course ya gotta consider thinning out all of those!

As jm said, I'd check out the all black Lee William's ENER-G II. Limited Edition, it's a great slicer with a really nice flipper. Also the upcoming release of the S110V Shallot will be very nice. All thin out well too.

One staple you might want to consider too is the CB Leek. Heck, take that one to about 10 per side, too.

With the great steels Kershaw is offering (CB or not), you can do amazing things to the edges!

Welcome, and stick around and have some fun with us!
