Got a Benchmade 10610, and I Have a Benchmade 310 Question

I've always wanted a Benchmite. I got my Benchmite II (10610) today since it's the only model I could find. Neat little knife. I wasn't too impressed with the weight and looks of the handle (lacking design on one side), however. I'm not complaining since I got it for $28 with shipping. I do like it and it will be fun to carry. It came razor sharp as well, and I like AUS-8.

That being said, I would also really love to get my hands on a Benchmade 310. Unfortunately, I have not found a single one for sale online. I know they were discontinued, but I didn't expect it to be this hard to find one. Anybody know where I might be able to find a new one online? Nothing on eBay, Amazon, and many various other sites found through Google. Obviously, this Blue Class knife is noticeably nicer than the one I have now (and weighs much less, relatively speaking).

I actually saw that, but I'm sure they are selling the 10610 although it's the 310 picture. It also says Benchmite II, which is the 10610. Keyword: "II"

There is no way it's a 310 for that cheap. The 310, when on sale, was easily going for $80+. I think they just have the wrong picture up. I really appreciate your post. Thank you. :)
 
I had a hard time finding them for sale even shortly after they got disco'd (in fact I never did find one, though eventually I saw one sell on here, already had a small knife by then though ;P), I think that they sold below "not well", I'd imagine they sold horribly and thus got discontinued and are not very common in the used market place... just a guess though!

Anyways, good luck with your search, check the For Sale forums here and eBay often! Also, I think you can post requests for knives for sale? I'm pretty sure I've seen such things over there. Maybe check CraigsList, too, it's unlikely, but you never know! You can also look for local Benchmade dealers online and see if you can find one.
 
Check at knife shows too, if there are any in your area. You have the benefit of being able to handle it before deciding to buy in that scenario.
 
I'm not sure what a 310 is - but I just picked up a 3100 today - this knife:

They have probably 30 or so of these. They are black class though, not blue. But if you're interested, send me an email (in my profile) - and I'll tell you where I got it and for how much.


Edit - Duh - I just saw the 310 under the "see also" section. Sorry... I'd delete this post if I knew how. :)

Interesting. I was always under the impression that the Benchmite 310 and 3100 were pretty popular. I will check eBay now and then. I figure if it i shows up anywhere, it will probably be there. Thanks for the suggestions and info!

Good idea. I think we have a knife show coming to Easton, PA in June. Or was it September? Well, either way, I'll find out, and I plan on going. Thanks. :)
