Got a Blurple Manix 2 on the way!

So pumped! This will be my second Manix after falling in love with the design. Currently I have an all black version but I'm so, so pumped for Blurple. I've wanted something in s110v for a loooong time.

Any tips about maintaining s110v? I have the medium and fine rods for my sharpmaker and I get s30v and CTS-XHP hair popping no problem.

Also, share your blurple pics to get me more excited! I don't know how I'm going to make it to Thursday...

S110v can be chippy so the idea is to not go with such a low angle and because of the carbide size a more course finishing grit is idea.

micro bevel is a really good idea.

i like mine, im sure you will too.

I sharpened my s110 pm2 at like 14 degrees and it ended up being much more chippy than I thought until I put a microbevel on it. Man does it hold and edge though!!

Nice to see the Manix herd growing! My S110V LW is performing awesome. I don't think you'll have too much trouble maintaining it. My Lansky keeps up pretty well.

Just don't let it get very dull!! I just do frequent touch ups.
You are going to love that knife VE!! I have 5 Manix 2s and the build on the blurple one is the best!! Great edge too!!!
