So I own a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school and I have a student named Aubree, she's 8, and like a granddaughter to me. Her mom and dad also train with me and do a lot for the school. Mom works for me and is like a best friend, the entire family are hunters.
This year for Christmas I wanted to gift them all something special, something that couldn't be bought off the shelf from some store....and so, for the 8 year old Aubree, I bought a 112 drop point with S30V blade and nickel bolsters. For her mom Kodi I used an Alpha that I bought years ago, and for Kodi's dad Billy, grandpa, I bought a vintage 3 liner inverted 103 from Leroy Remer.
Last year I put together a school camping trip to get the families together and we went up to northern New Mexico, we stopped at Billy's house on the way to visit. The visit ended with him letting me pick some really nice elk antlers to use for a couple of projects that my Blacksmith Nitzan Lilie was working on for me. Anyways, we ended up not using the antlers because he had never used antler before. Okay, back to the original story. This year I decided to use the antlers that Billy gave me on the before mentioned Buck Knives for this special family. I have to say, Leroy really knocked these knives out of the park! The 124 is mine.
