Hey everyone, I made a camp knife in W2. I've come to really love making camp/chopping knives. Burt Foster is one of my favorite bladesmiths because I think he makes some damn cool camp knives.
For some reason the hamon traveled down the blade on this one and got close to the edge. Because of this a lot of the cool ashi and wispy stuff kind of got taken over. The edge still hardened so I guess its okay. The hamon kind of looks like a leaf or maybe an insect wing of some sort.
I know a lot of people aren't crazy about dyed handles but I really love a green/teal burl handle.
I'll throw this up in the for sale section soon in case anyone is interested let me know.
Also I have no idea how to make my website come up under my posts. Lol if anyone could clue me in it would be greatly appreciated
I really suck with computers
