I was looking for some decent mag pouches for my FN-Fal, well no one makes them, that is untill now. After searching for a single mag pouch in Kydex I gave up. Then I posted over on Knifenut asking if anyone did custom work in kydex. And low and behold our own junglejim308 said he would take the project on.
My first impression was that the mag fit a slight bit loose, but after a trip to the range and playing around with it at home its just right. I can hold the pouch in my hand with a loaded mag in it and shake it violently and it still wont come out. Running around doing some motion drills today a mag will not come out of this thing even when droping or shooting prone.
Tek-Lok all I can say is WOW, this is a must on all my kydex gear from now on.
Made to my specs, I bassically told Jim what I wanted (left handed rifle shooter so the pouches need to be on the right side fo the body with a cant to the front of 15%) and he made it. Great communication and a quick double check before he made them, and very very quick turnaround.
Very well made pouch, if your in the market for a mag pouch or knife seath that you cant find, Jim would get the first nod from me.
Think I am going to be sending off some other things for Jim to make pouches for after christmas.
