It's a stout, put together knife with a solid lock up and zero blade play.
nice and sharp too my only Criticism so far is that the handle doesn't match
up at the back, the right side is longer.

Congrats on the PXL. I have been EDC'ing a PXL at work for over a year now and it has been 100% solid. A fantastic large knife that takes everything I throw at it and comes back looking for more.

I'm a steadfast Fallkniven fan, but have to admit QC issues like the handle lengths on your knife are concerning, even if they don't detract from the actual functional use of the knife.

Posts mentioning minor fitment problems on Fallknivens are becoming somewhat more common. I cetainly hope Fallkniven isn't slippng on there QC.

Are you thinking of returning it for exchange?

Wow, I’ve never seen a Falkniven with that kind of QC issue.
They usually rate among the best in the business.

I would seriously return that one.

Overall, the PXL is one of the finest folders made, yours not withstanding.
The one I had rivaled my much more expensive brands, which I also “had”.

I'm actually not too concerned with the uneven handle, it bugs me a little because it's not quite perfect but that doesn't detract any the knife's functionality.
I'd rather have some cosmetic imperfections over sloppy blade play or poor locking action.
Besides, I've bought some fairly high end knives (Benchmade for example) with a lot worse
issues then this at a higher cost.

The first PXL I bought had a similar issue with a handle that wasn't level with the bolster. Wasn't bad at all, but as you say, it was not perfect as everything else was. These are expensive knives, but well worth the money in my estimation!:D

I paid $280 +shipping for a skirmish 630 when it first came out, too much I know.
It was a good knife but had a little bladeplay.

And then there was the Cutter's knife & tool Karambit... very disappointing.
