Well, I certainly have been blessed this month! I got quite a few goodies in the mail and I'd figure I'd share. You guys understand me :)

First off:
Paracord stuff from jarodmichael! Why? Just cause he's a cool dude I guess! He even remembered my favorite foresty color OD green!

THANK YOU! I told my bf that some other man was mailing me some "jewelry". He was confused when I was prancing around his apartment with these :D

Next:
The leatherman that I won from Guyon in the "Beckers in strange places contest" I love this thing, I haven't used it yet, but I am very glad to have a screw driver handy! This thing has a permanent home in my purse now!

Hopefully soon, I'll post a review on this, it's perfect because I only have one other folder that's any quality, and that one is in my car. So thank you sir!

And of course, BK10!:

man thats one hell of a mail day

I see the pic of you holding that leatherman... Don't you wish it had a thumb ramp?! (from another thread. I get my love of jimping/ramps from folders >.>) All and all, good stuff. I'm waiting on my 10 still. I got my number the VERY last day... Still need to make a sig with it -_- I will, I will. Just, later

This has me wondering if paracord could be woven into a sap... You can make anything else out of it!

Excellent paracord work....

jarodmichael is my new best friend, sorry Moose your out this time.....

I like the ramp on my 9 and 10, but I dunno if I want a ramp on a folder. we'll see when I play with it.

No need to plan a contest, just send me your BK11 sheath!

haha, you can contact MyWifeThinksI'mCrazy, he made it for me :)

Jarod, I guess other than 240SX love, we also have paracord weaving in common lol. Nice King Cobra weave, wait is it 2 or 3 layers? thats huge lol. I did a Crown Sinet that I didnt know when to stop, and I ended up with a 14" key fob...weaving is just so relaxing lol. I also generally use snap buckles, and a single piece of paracord, but really want to try doing the ball and loop fastners, and using two colors too. Great work man, I'll try to get pics of some of my stuff up, I only have a few though, just work on em when I'm bored, and ran out of buckles a while ago. I'm still learning as I go though, carried alot of techniques over from when I used to do hemp-weaving when I was younger. Need to learn that triple braid one...it looks so celtic lol.

Great stuff Airyca, love when stuff like that just shows up. Whats that Leatherman called? I have a wave, but really like the look of that one, especially with the bit holder.

Nice work on the paracord. Enjoy all the goodies and may the cut heal speedily. I know the feeling is great when the mailman delivers...just got home from travels and found my long awaited package waiting too. :D

Cheers!

I have LOTS of extra time and have gone through many bags of 550 cord. Practice, practice practice. I read stormdrain's blog and looked on itstactical.com. They have some great knot ideas. I have learned tons of useful knots and teach my guys here all the time. The bigest thing about knots is practice!! If you don't use it, you lose it!

Actually the big key fob is four layers. I had five on there, but it started looking funny. I also have done a pouch for my camera using half hitch, and also a larger first aid pouch. I've done a two layer sling for my rifle too! That took hours!!

The Turks head knot, (braided), is my favorite. I havent mastered it yet, but I'm getting close. If you would like I can do a thread with all my paracord stuff I've made.

Cap'n I'm glad you like your stuff!! Thats pretty funny about you telling your BF about another guy sending you jewelry, the lady at the post office was like aww, sending goodies back home huh? I just laughed. Enjoy it and take care!!
