Got a Grail....USN Catcherman

So to most this wouldn't be a Grail but for me it was. I snagged a USN Catcherman H1...now I love to fish and I had nothing in H1 and then I landed the perfect blade. This allows me to know exactly which H1 blade is next and then after that. I'll get pics up tomorrow for yall of my new beauty !

Congrats! I have always wanted one, but honestly so rarely fish it wouldn't make sense to take one from a home where it would be loved and used!

I was lucky and got two of those H-1 Catchermans and I have one in the collection and one for using. The Catcherman is one of my all time favorite Spyderco knives>> mainly because it's so practical and has so many uses in the kitchen and for butchering deer and other uses.

My very favorite Catcherman is an older AUS-8 model with a full Spyderedge. I'm hoping someday Spyderco will bring back the Catcherman with a fully serrated blade. The Fully serrated AUS-8 Catcherman I own has a really nice low profile serration pattern which is not really spikey like most of the Spyderco SE blades are now a days.

If Spyderco ever puts out a fully serrated H-1 Catcherman I will be first in line to get it. I own 6 Catcherman models and I love every one of them.

congratulations on your find and I have no doubt that great knife will give you years of great use.
