got a jaguar

hi,I've been reading for about 3 months now, but just registered. I just got my jaguar today in the mail. Its my first bali that has a blade longer than 3 inches. Its very heavy compared to my mini filipino made bali. I cant manipulate as fast as I can on my mini. will it take long to get over the wight isue? Oh, BTW, my jag is the 239 copy.

If your interested the Model # for the BM 239 copy is HC-23. So that would make it a Jaguar HC-23.

Welcome to the forums.

I'm sure in time and practice you will get used to the weight. Your finger and hand muscles are not strong enough yet. Try the exercises on Clay's site, they really help.

Then you will have to get unused to the heavy weight when you get the light BM42.

Welcome to the forums. I second the runnig opinion and suggest you go to Clay's site. It has lots of exercises that will allow you to develop the muscle control needed to flip all kinds of balis

yup.. I was very frutrated with the weight too and didn't see much progress until I started doing the closed bali finger exercises.. hey if you wanna move up to customs you gotta get used to your jags
