Too cool for school Gary!
Do you have an older Kalinga?
Would be interested in your comparison/review.

nope. This is my first one. Feels very light in the hand. Love the grippy "Thermoplastic w/Dynaflex Rubber Overmold" handles. Nice.

So *that's* what Gander Mountain was selling; with a polished blade and Sambar Stag grips...

I have to go into The Big City on Friday, maybe I'll stop at GM and see if they still have them...

Very nice Gary,

Thanks for sharing your pic's. Give us an up date when you've had a chance to give it a test drive ;). Again the real photo's look better than the catalog!!! So many knives to get this year

Wow! That is one serious looking knife. I didn't really like it in the Buck stock photos on the web but yours looks awesome!

I really like that knife! The blade looks great!
I may have to buy the fixed and the folder now!!!!
Thanks!!!

Keep those comments coming! I am anxious to hear from folks about this knife. I was nervous when I first heard they were going to bring back that classic knife but early reviews are encouraging. I have not actually seen one up close yet but it sure looks like one that will end up in my elk hunting pack.
Thanks for the pics too.
