As the title states I received a knife for my birthday...however I am not a "show-off" knife guy its a beautiful blade but its not my cup of tea. I am looking for any true reasonable price value..."not eBay numbers"
The blade is a Jay Fisher "Aunkst"
I have done some research but have no clue if these are desirable.
Please be easy on me it is my first post to the forum.

Before you posted for the first time, it may have proven wise to read the rules. Specifically relating to non paying members asking about the value of their knives. Welcome to Bladeforums! Sit down and have a good read, there are lots of good helpful people here, and lots of info to be had!

That is a very expensive blade and Jay's workmanship is excellent.

You have a work of art...hang on to it and appreciate it for the high level of craftsmanship it has.

BTW on Ebay $1000 is what they go for.

You really need to upgrade your membership though to be able to discuss $$ on this forum.

Welcome! Mitchell. As NCCNC said, read the rules and enjoy the fellowship here.

As for your quest. Google Jay Fisher knives, then go to his web site, or just give him a call. He'll have all the information you will want.

WHAT IS MY KNIFE / GADGET / SPATULA / TUNING FORK WORTH ?!?!?!?!

In order to curtail potential abuse of membership privileges associated with the forums, questions regarding valuation of knives and collections are limited to those with a membership level which permits selling on this site. Accordingly, registered and basic members may not start or post in threads with such requests whether with the intent to sell or for informational purposes only. This rule applies throughout the site.

In other words, without a paid Gold membership, you don't get to ask about sale values. Too many people abused this question to hint they had a knife for sale, which you need that membership for.
