Bunch of new stuff with pictures - just a bunch of knives I've been wanting for a while or feel like should be a part of any collection - went on a bit of a spending spree last weekend and the goods are rolling in.

Some alox swiss army knives

And last but certainly not least a Mcusta MC-42

Enjoy :D

Well you've certainly caught the bug! My favorites are the Mcusta and the Salt. That mcusta looks excellent with the damascus and double anodized handles. Good week.

That is a great haul! I am particularly liking that Hen & Rooster.

i love those alox swiss army knives,,gotta get one some day....

I got this week only Helle Bessegen and Spyderco UKPK and my Buck 55 is in the mail, probably crossing ocean next week. I go lick those Buck's especially 110 auto conversion. Its very nice!

Now that's a good week - I wouldn't know which one to play with first, but sure I like the look of that Mcusta.

Hi jec006 -

Wow - that is quite a tsunami of nice blades rolling in for you!

Thanks for the pictures - and please post your reviews/thoughts on each knife as you have time to get experience with them.

I am curious about the 110A - I have never seen one of those in person. I would appreciate any details about that one that you might have.

best regards -

wow, a regular shopping spree  very nice. just sharpened an officer sak. great little blades

thanks for all the kind comments - i'll definitely get some comments on them as I get to using and carrying them.

A couple of initial impressions -
I'm very disappointed with the Hen and Rooster honestly - its beautiful but the blade isn't centered, there is a small piece of the center metal missing on one end and it came really dull.

The buck auto conversion is awesome though - i really like the combination of the classic with an automatic. It opens fast, the button is kind of a rocker - you push on the bottom part and it hinges up a bit.... basically - its just awesome.

Hold on just a minute! I never knew they made a mini version of the Buck 110! Why don't people tell me these things??

Looks like I need to buy another knife this month...
