Got a new 4

Got a new 4 today from Dale at TKC. Last week I was going to send out few things to be cerakoted flat dark earth and it got me thinking about picking up a desert tan ESEE4 that i've wanted. It went from wanting to ordering real damn quick.

The 4 looks to be great, we'll see after i get to use it.

I figured my first post here should have a pic in it.

Looks great, just ordered a DT 4 for myself today! However, you are way ahead of me just with your one pic... take some outside in its natural element.:thumbup:
 
I, too, am a new owner of a 4. Mine is the black w/linen micarta. Had it for a couple of weeks but no pictures yet.

First the Izula, then the 4 and I just received a fire kit today. The madness never ends. Welcome to the madness. :)

Thanks all. I'm trying to fight the urge to pick up a 5 or 6 before i get a chance to break in the new 4.
 
Ain’t gonna lie to ya, I’m wanting another 4 and DT with the canvas micarta looks pretty appealing.
 
Very nice knife. My son got one a couple of weeks ago. I am saving up to buy mine at the current time.......
 
Got a guy that wants to do custom wood work, handles, firesteels, ect. Just ordered a new 4 for him to apply his handle making skills. Also got an Eskabar, figured he could do a matching set. Figured new handles deserved a new knife. Either way it was a good excuse to buy a new ESEE. I'll post pics when I get them back.
 
got my tkc rc-4 on the way with custom handles on the way my junglas and izula2 r geting lonely. The 4 is going to replace my ontario rat 5 D2. Have loved it 4 many years and have put it through the ringer without fail (even in minus 45 northern ontario weather with heavy chopping!) Which most people seem to claim D2 has a problem with has came through with out fail. But the sheathing is shit and i could pay for a custom sheath or upgrade with a new knife and sheath for cheaper.
 
I want one of these, and I'm thinking of getting the orange handled E-4 too and switching the handles unless they somehow offer a tan E-4 with orange handles?????
 
I am absolutely loving the Desert Tan. I have the 3 in it, and I am a huge fan...

Congrats on a fantastic (and fantastic looking) knife! :thumbup:
 
Just received my 4 and am very impressed. In deciding between a 3 and 4, the extra blade length was appealing. I have large hands and am happy to say the grip fits perfectly for me.
