Got a new Cricket!

Well I used to have a Cricket, but lent it to my friend for awhile (he is a knife lover, but didn't own any). Well, his little brother took it and broke the tip, so I needed to get a new one. I got one tonight one ebay for only $23.50!!! I couldn't believe it when I won the auction at that price!! I can't wait for it to get here.

oh yeah BTW, my girlfriend recently decided she needed a knife too, so after looking around for a while, she settled on a Cricket. So I have a knifeknut girl. She's a keeper!:D
 
...and on your girlfriend being a knifeknut as well. It took my wife about a year before she started wanting a Spydie for EDC.

Now for the bad news:
I used to carry my FRN Cricket SE for home carry, until my wife decided that she wanted it. :(

Good news:
However, this situation just gave me a good reason to pick up a new SS Cricket PE....:rolleyes: :D
 
How are you liking the new SS Cricket? I thought about picking one up but I'm not sure if I'll like the handles.
 
My new SS Cricket is awesome!! The handle is a little slick because of the SS, but you can still get a good grip on it. I added a lanyard to lengthen the "bite" that I have on the handle and it works great for me. The VG10 steel can take a wickedly, hair poppin' sharp :eek: edge. The integral framelock is as stout as a lock can be, basically turning the Cricket into a small fixed blade. :cool:

If you haven't picked one up yet, I highly recommend it, just don't let your girlfriend see it.....:rolleyes:
