My wife spent a lot of time listening to me talk and decided on this knife for me, which she had custom engraved. I was in the Marines for a time and she knows how proud I am of that. It is a Ka Bar Dozier for those that cannot tell from the pictures.

Nothing too special - but we don't have a ton of money and the thought put into it was tremendous. I whipped up a fob for it when I got home from gutted 550 cord.

Boatswain whistle knot to square sinnet to square finishing knot for those that pay attention to knots.

I switched the clip from one side to the other and I love the lightness of the knife in my pocket. Not a bad little inexpensive knife.

I have never used one, but have read favorable reviews. You have a good Wife...... hang on to Her. Make sure to give here a penny!

Congrats......

Yup. Never liked those Doziers in catalog pics, but that actually looks like a very useable knife. Not to mention the wife definately sounds like a keeper!

Looks to me like a well-designed, solid and useful knife, with a lot of real heart behind it. Your wife deserves a night out or flowers or something! :D

Geez, guys, don't forget to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU OL' DEVIL DOG! :D

Nice knife ,and you're lucky to have a wife that understands knifeness ;)

Happy Birthday!,I have one of those with the sheeps foot type blade,I think there great easy to carry knives, and that aus 8 takes a hair poping edge!

I'm a fan of the Kabar Dozier. I'm actually going to pick one up on sunday. Nice knife!

That is a great gift! Your wife is VERY thoughtful. Congratulations!

Congrats, thanks for serving, and nice knife! I have one myself, and I like it a lot. It has a very thin overall profile, making it a pleasure to carry.
