Hi, well my new sheath came today. thanks to the suggestions from here.

texas hunters sheath, fits my old beat up bk7 just fine. Seems to be well made and the pouch is a good size for a multi tool and fire starter.

mine came too. i love the muted brown and camo. the black is nice too.

the material seems a little bit softer too, which is nice. i've found the brand new older specops sheaths to be VERY stiff.

great value.

Love mine. Sort of wish I'd grabbed a camo. May still yet.
cricketdave, will you be appearing in Official Beckerhead Panties anytime soon?
I need to know if I should take a break from BFC for a while. :D

depends on when they put some out,,,,not so fond of doing a photo shoot in the cold. now if its a becker thong oh yeah i'm so going to model them while starting a bonfire

Ok, I will get some quotes for panties and nanner hammocks with the Beckerhead Logo on it. Dave, you will be sent a free pair gratis for the publicity, and the laffs:D:barf::D

Very nice, is there a difference between the Texas and the specops sheaths? They look identical but the prices say otherwise. Also how does the bk7 fit width wise? Is the sheath wide enough for the blade or does it fit tight?

track the other thread down, lots of pictures

I've seen tons of pics, but I can't rightly tell if the blade is tight, or if there's a millimeter or two of slack, also can't tell if there's a difference in anything other than price.

For the BK2, I don't think there is a better production sheath than the ESEE5 sheath. Nice tight fit on those.

the sheath fits just fine with alittle extra room, i took the liner out and put it in hot water for a couple minutes to mold it to the blade. seems to be just as well made and as heavy as the regular spec ops sheaths.

that's probably pretty true for CURRENT production :)

the old Eagle sheaths, which one can sometimes still buy "old new stock", are amazing and still define quality and features, imho.

also, they are LINED, and are SILENT :)

i really otter buy a couple myself next time i see them.

Best I can tell, it is a Spec-Ops sheath marketed to hunters.

I've searched but I can't find info on it. Can someone post a link to more info on those brown Spec Ops type sheaths?
