My SOG Seal Pup arrived today while I was in Vegas! :D

I love this knife! It is so perfect! I think I've found my new fixed blade EDC! Only problem is, there isn't enough of it! I had no idea the pup was so tiny! I guess I need a Tigershark!

;) :p

The Seal Pup and the Tigershark make a GREAT pair, but then you also will need to get a Seal 2000, to round-out the set...Sort of a family, like "big daddy" (Tigershark), "momma" (Seal 2000), and "junior" (Seal Pup).:).

Too big for what? If you are thinking about carrying in your front pocket, then yes, it IS too big :D...Otherwise it's just fine. The blade is a little under 9 inches long, it's 1/4 inch thick, and 14&1/8 inches long...(Hell, one of the FOLDERS that I sometimes carry is only 1&1/8 inches shorter!.).

Alright, makes sense. :)

Dann took the words right out of my errr... keyboard!:D

Too big for what? To carry on an airplane... YUP! too big...

It is absolutely wonderful for carrying in your hand when salespeople come to the door:D especially with a rag in the other hand and/or a sharpener. Suddenly they just don't seem as motivated to sell you things...

Combine that with the German Shepherd that is my avatar, and they are almost rude in their hurry to leave...:p

I open MY door with my 10mm Glock in one hand (non-threatenly), and the door-nob in the other, as I ask them if they REALLY want to bother me right now?.:D.

We're Canadian, we aren't allowed firearms...
OK, well, we are, technically, but the rigamaroles involved are HUGE!!!

The Tigershark is very effective though...:D The motivation goes in rivulets down the front of their legs...;) :D

See...I KNEW that there was a GOOD reason why I chose to be born in the USA!...But IF I wasn't allowed a gun, my Tigershark WOULD be MY choice of a "door knife".:).

When my "non-knife nut" wife saw it...
"What is THAT ?!?!?!"

"It's a knife dear... "

That BIG??? etc. etc. etc.

I figured, if my wife, who is getting used to different knives, had that reaction - imagine the sales people, "bible thumpers"...

As long as you are "non-threatening" ;) :o :barf:
