I got this in the mail a few days back. the best I can tell from reading all the prior posts about them is that it was made circa 1999 for SMKW's by Camillus.

Did they do a special pattern for them (SMKW's) or did Buck offer them through other channels also?

I should have mentioned the size or put something in the picture for scale. Here it is with a 110. It's a pretty sizable knife.

Those large toothpicks go into a boot very nicely. Especially a tight fighting combat boot.

I really wanted a Buck for my last tour but had to settle on a Russell. Served me well, never needed it which I consider a success in that case!

Nice catch on the 333. Hope Buck brings them back soon, want one for my next field trip.

Did you catch that one off the bay? I chased one there recently with no luck, hope you were the guy to get it.

This one was a Buy it Now and I caught it early.

$31.90 delivered new in the box with the paperwork.

That jigged bone is sweet! They also issued a 333ST California Toothpick, that one has a fake stag handle. There were 1000 of each issued in 1999. That knife was a real deal at that price.

Dave are these good knives, not brand but toothpick knives in general, I'v seen them and they seem as if they may be kind of uncomfortable to use. No place around here actually lets you handle to knife except one place that has crappy knives.

These have always felt to me like a dog that just appears at your back door and decides you are its new master. Actually all the SMKWs Buck special orders make me feel that way.

Not found in catalogs, Buck on the blade, Manuf. and assembled by Camillus. Two models, two variations.

Stag-a-lon and jigged bone, the variations are the overruns to the SMKWs contract which don't have printing on blade. There may be a few with black scale jigged bone but I have never seen one, only rumors.... WARNING watch for camillus factory closedown parts knives that don't have the correct rivets, and no blade printing. Sometimes they won't have escutcheon plates on scale either. Both knives above OK. Note differences in bolster slant.
