UPS just dropped off a new Patriot about 20 minutes ago, and man, is it great. I was getting ready to have a sore thumb over the next couple of days, but nope, not this time. Sharp as hell, perfectly centered blade, no sticky lock or screen door creak when opening. This one flies open with a quick thumb flick. Guess I'm excited here because the last couple (Mini Roadhouse and Horseman) and took a while to break in, as expected. This bad boy is ready to be put to work. Extremely happy with this one.

It's really great, perfect size, nice early lockup. It's as nice or better than all my others knives from ZT, Benchmade, etc. Just can't get over how smooth it is.
My other Emerson's had to work a bit to find their "soul", this one came built in. I'll be carrying this one for a long time.
